Welcome
to Petite
Swan Ballet School
About us
We provide high-quality classical ballet training for children ages 3 to 16, in a calm, elegant, and child-centered environment. Our teaching is based on the Russian Vaganova method, with selected elements from the American Ballet Theatre (ABT®) curriculum to support well-rounded development.

“We help children discover the joy of learning, self-expression, and discipline through the arts.”
Maria Shuliaeva, Founder
About the Founder
My name is Maria Shuliaeva
Founder and artistic director of Petite Swan Ballet, is a classically trained ballet dancer and instructor, dedicated to guiding young dancers with elegance, precision, and care. Trained in the Russian Vaganova method, she has performed internationally in China and Poland, appearing in beloved classical ballets such as Swan Lake, Giselle, The Nutcracker, and Sleeping Beauty.
With over six years of experience teaching children, she combines her professional performance background with a warm and patient approach to help young dancers develop their skills. She has taught kids in Dubai and now in the United States, focusing on building strong foundations in ballet technique while nurturing each child’s creativity and confidence.

Through all the years of her career and exploring different cultures, she witnessed the unique role of dance and music in shaping children’s emotional and artistic growth.
At Petite Swan Ballet, she creates a space where every child feels inspired, supported, and encouraged to grow—not only as a dancer, but as a confident and expressive young individual. Through thoughtful instruction rooted in classical technique and musicality, she nurtures grace, imagination, and the quiet joy of movement.
